Have you ever wondered what it’s like to pet a moose? Of course you have! Come on and join ISAK for a trip to Moose World! It’s unique park in Värmland where they keep moose and alpacas for the public to experience and enjoy. This is a chance in a lifetime, you will be able to see the animals for up-close and it’s something that you will remember for the rest of your life. So take the opportunity to live some real Swedish wild life with us!

We will be collecting payments in Café Gläntan on Tuesday 26th April from 12 to 1.30, the price to pay is 330 sek. If you will not be able to pay that day, ask a friend to do it for you or email activity@isak-kau.se.

The plan for the day, Sunday the 8th of May, is to leave around 9 from the university bus station, the park is at almost 1 hour and 45 minutes away. Make sure that you bring some kind of lunch since we won’t be back until late afternoon. I will send you another email with the exact times before the end of next week.

Are you tired of this long winter and foggy weather? Do you want to spend time with friends while watching movie?

ISAK want to bring all you to ”The movie night” on 5th April, Tuesday, at 19:15 to the most fancy building and room ”Egg” (building 21). We also want to show swedish movie! Since you are in Sweden it would be great to get acquainted with swedish cinema  industry and of course to spend time with all international friends.

Dear Students,

Campusbokhandeln (The Campus Bookstore) helps students get hold of textbooks. All books instock are searchable on our website. When a student found the book they want, they make a reservation on our website and will then pick and book and pay in our shop in Cafe Gläntan.

You can turn in your old books to the Campusbokhandeln as soon as possible so we can sell books to them. You could get up to 65% of first-time price deposited into your bank account after we have sold the book. The earlier you hand in the book the more likely that Campusbokhandeln will sell it at the start.

At Campusbokhandeln, students can of course also buy pencils, erasers, kollegieblock and other study material.

Hello!

On January 27th we have this semester’s welcome dinner! New students,
old students and host students are very much welcome to join! We will
have a nice dinner (chicken marinated in herbs and potatoes de gratain),
dessert (chocolate cake) and a bar with really good prices! The price is
170 SEK and you can pay on Friday outside the library between 12.00 and
13.00. If you want to come but cannot pay then, please send an email to

The dinner starts at 19.00 in Transformum.
