On the 18th of November, we will celebrate all the different nationalities in ISAK by having a night filled with food from all over the world. Get your fellow countrymen together, cook something typical for your country, bring it to café Selma and enjoy an international buffé! with some exciting gifts!

The rules are the following:

1. Cook one main course and one dessert from your country (you can use the microwaves at café Gläntan for heating up your food).

2. Cook for twice the people you are in the group, ie. if you are four, cook for eight people aprox…

3. There can be more than one team from a country if there are many people who wants to participate from the same country.

4. The team with the best food and presentation (it’s way more fun if you wear typical clothing for your country and make a nice table decoration with flags and such) will win a prize and the unforgettable honor!

This is an alcohol-free event, it is forbidden to bring your own alcohol and you can not buy alcohol at the dinner. But since we are starting so early, there will be plenty of time for pre-parties afterwards.

Only people who are a part of a team is allowed to taste the food from the other teams (since we don’t want to risk running out of food), but you can come and enjoy the show of course even if you are not on a team.

NOTE: The event is free for all ISAK members and all you have to bring is your ISAK Card, food and a smile!

To sign up, send an e-mail to ”activity@isak-kau.se” with the number of people in your group their names and what country you will represent. The last date for sign-up is the 15th of November.

Hi everybody,

The student association TURE is planning to arrange a dinner an all student associations are invited including ISAK-members.

The idea behind this is to make all the students from the different associations come together and show that it is possible to have a fellowship that is spread across the association’s border. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, eat great food and have a lot of fun!

TURE has to know how many of you are interested to be able to set a permanent date, so if you are interested or have any questions regarding this event contact Linn on this mail:

lp.gyllenhammar@hotmail.com

Don’t forget to spread the word! The more people that join this event the more fun it will be!
